Pasumarthi Srinivasa Sarma
Pasumarthi Srinivasa Sarma, a born dancer from one of the traditional family of Kuchipudi is a very good performer, excellent Guru and a very prolific writer, which means that he can dance, articulate the same and make others excel and also document the same for posterity all with effortless ease and nonchalantly.
Born to Pasumarthi Venkata Chalapathi Sarma, he learnt dance from his elder brother Pasumarthi Venkateswara Sarma and later from Padma Bhushan Dr. Vempati Chinna Satyam and Padmasri Dr. Vedantam Satyanarayana Sarma. He has done his Diploma in Kuchipudi and authored books like Kuchipudi Natya Koumudi, Abhinaya Chandrika, Kuchipudi Nartana Kala Parichayam, Kuchipudi Nrutya Chandrika & Sri Siddhendra Yogi Charita.
He has travelled extensively in India and abroad. His choreographies include around 35 ekapatra kelikas (solo items), many dance dramas and three Yakshaganams he had done with lokadharmi (i.e., female characters done by female instead of female impersonification).
Shanti vijayam, Mohini Basmura, St. John the Baptist, Pariyavarana parirakshana, Sanga samaskarta, Sri Dattta katha, Srinivasa Kalayanam, Raithee Raju are some of the note worthy choreographies of Pasumarthi Srinivasa Sarma.

While he is affectionately called as ‘SUKAVITHA NATYACHARYA’, he has been conferred with the title ‘Kuchipudi Nartana Siromani’ and ‘Natya Hamsa’. He has also been awarded Sagara Sangamam Film Award, Gold medal in Youth Festival and Andhra Nataka Kala Samithi award.
He is currently a lecturer in Andhra Pradesh Government Music and Dance school, Rajahmundry.
